This master's program is for current certified teachers who want to be special education teachers for students with disabilities and meet the demand for these positions.

Graduates also may apply for an add-on S.C. certification in special education to teach PK-12 students with disabilities in their chosen area of specialization, either multi-categorical special education with expertise across disabilities or severe and multiple disabilities with expertise for students requiring high support.

What You’ll Study
