A new student organization called the Association of Supply Chain Students (ASCS) has formed at the Moore School, with the help of a $5,000 grant from Target and funding from the Center for Global Supply Chain and Process Management at Moore.
The ASCS goals are to help students in creating professional networking opportunities and building their knowledge and skills in the fields of operations, process management, supply chain, logistics, sourcing, and distribution.
Dr. Jay Jayaram, associate professor of management science and director of the Ph.D. program, is faculty advisor for the group.
A kick-off event will be held on September 18th (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m., room 302 of the Moore School. Interested undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.
