IMBA program teaching and academic/service awards for 2007 were presented at the
year-end party May 8.
This year’s teaching award winners are:
IMBA Core Professor – Columbia:
Dr. Scott B. Jackson, Assistant Professor, Accounting
IMBA Core Professor – Europe:
Dr. Gary A. Luoma, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Accounting
IMBA Elective Professor:
Dr. Michael Galbreth, Assistant Professor, Management Science

Dr. Scott Jackson, always a student favorite, received the Outstanding Core
Professor Award from the USC Columbia track students. Dr. Marty Roth presented all
awards.

Dr. Gary Luoma, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Accounting, received the
award from the European Track as Outstanding Core Professor.

Dr. Michael Galbreth was a first-time winner of the Outstanding Elective Professor
Award. This award is determined by a vote of the graduating class.

Frank Zellner, European Track, along with two of his classmates, David Clayton and
Antonio Rosario (not pictured) received the highest student award for
completing the IMBA program with a 4.0 GPA.

The Jeff Arpan award is given every year to the student voted by his classmates as
the most international. This year
Ruben Doboin won the award.
|
|
|
Rob Dalton was given the Student Ambassador Award for his tirelsss efforts in
student recruiting for the IMBA program.
