Professor Discusses the Economic Impact of the S.C. Research Authority

Woodward is featured in a brief video citing the economic impact of the South Carolina Research
Authority (SCRA). According to Dr. Woodward, the SCRA’s annual economic contribution to South
Carolina in 2007 was $1.4 billion. SCRA’s efforts "contribute to the state’s development in a
myriad of ways: promoting technology capabilities, managing research parks, and helping generate
small business and entrepreneurial development through SCRA affiliate SC Launch!" he said. "These
