Seven Moore School faculty members have received Excellence in Teaching Awards from the Alpha chapter of Mortar Board at the University of South Carolina.

The honorees are Dr. William O. Bearden, professor of marketing; Dr. David Chappell, lecturer in finance; Dr. Helen I. Doerpinghaus, professor of insurance; Dr. Kelly Hewett, lecturer in marketing; Thomas Hughes, lecturer in the School of Accounting; Dr. Daniel C. Steele, associate professor of management science; and Dr. Richard A. White, professor in the School of Accounting.
