A 2003 book co-authored by Dr. Steven V. Mann , professor of finance at the Moore School of Business, appeared Oct. 8 on Google Book Search Program's "Top Ten Books."
Measuring and Controlling Interest Rate and Credit Risk (N.J.: John Wiley & Sons Inc., 2003) by Mann, Frank J. Fabozzi, and Moorad Choudhry zoomed into the Top Ten list that was searched by Google's Internet program for the Sept. 17-23 time period.
The Google Book Search Program allows users to go online to search through public domain works and through select pages of books still under copyright. Google says its program enables " more people to find more books in more languages."
Mann said he was "pleased" about the ranking. He speculated that the book was being
searched for online because in the wake of the Enron and Worldcom debacles, investors are "keyed up
about credit risk."
