The board of trustees of the USC- Business Partnership Foundation — the Moore School's liaison with
the business community — has two new members. Elected Oct. 27 were
Jimmy Addison and
Andy Lowrey. Both will serve a four-year term, effective
immediately.

Addison, a native of
Lancaster, South Carolina, is chief financial officer of SCANA. He began his career at SCANA, the
principal subsidiary of South Carolina Electric & Gas Co., in 1991. Prior to joining
SCANA, he was in public accounting in the Charlotte and Columbia offices of Deloitte and Touche,
and was also a partner in a CPA practice in Columbia. Addison is a recipient of the Moore
School's 2001 Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is a member of the inaugural class of the
Liberty Fellowship and is also a director of South Carolina Bank and Trust.
Addison earned a bachelor's degree in 1982 and a Master of Accounting degree in 1983 - both
from the Moore School.

Lowrey is president and CEO of
AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, a post he has held since 1998. A graduate of the University of
Georgia, he earned an MBA at the Moore School in 1991.
Lowrey serves on the board of directors of the Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation
as chairman, and on the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives. He is also a member of the
board of directors of the Education Foundation of the University of South Carolina, and of Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia. He serves on the board of the Palmetto AgriBusiness
Council, and is a recipient of the Honorary American FFA Degree and the South Carolina Friend of
4-H Award. He serves on the National 4-H Board, where he is chairman of the Finance
Committee.
