About the Moore School of Business


Since 1919, innovation has been the key to the success of the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business. The school has a history of keeping pace with the ever-changing global market through a blend of academic preparation and real-world experience. By emphasizing internships, consulting projects, study abroad programs, entrepreneurial opportunities, and ethics, the school has earned international recognition.

Moore School of Business is a large, complex, and comprehensive business school with more than 3,900 students in its undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. Its 36,000 living alumni are the successful products of nine undergraduate majors or concentrations, five master's degree programs, and two Ph.D. programs. More than 160 faculty and staff are involved in teaching, research, and service to the community. The nine-story building houses several research centers, the state headquarters for the Small Business Development Center, the Daniel-Mickel Executive Education Center, the Elliott White Springs Business Library, the Japan Business Library, and two interactive television classrooms. Both the Moore School of Business and the School of Accounting are accredited by AACSB International-The Association for Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business, the recognized international accrediting association for business schools.
