The course first focuses on helping you understand your individual traits, and how you are perceived by others. Once you understand how you relate with others, you will begin to develop the skills necessary for communicating effectively.

Communication Strategies also gives you the opportunity to understand the power of persuasive speaking and active listening, skills that are essential to shaping performance. Communication Strategies for Improving Performance introduces participants to The Birkman Method ®, a comprehensive tool for assessing and managing both individual and organizational effectiveness, and for creating strategic change within an organization. The Birkman questionnaire provides a non-judgmental profile of an individual’s interests, behaviors, motivational needs, and reactions under stress.
