Purpose and Responsibilities of Area Alumni Ambassadors

The Area Alumni Ambassadors serve as contacts for alumni located in a geographical area and assist the alumni offices and the Moore School to communicate with and determine the needs of their alumni. More specifically, the responsibilities and duties of an Area Alumni Ambassador are as follows:

Post name and e-mail address on the Online Community for contact by area alumni and serve as an ambassador for the school:

Help build an area alumni group to
- network and support business alumni
- coordinate social activities
- advise potential and current business students, and student interns
- support business placement and internship activities
- assist new business alumni moving into the area;
Serve as a contact with the Alumni Office to relay feedback and needs;
Encourage membership in, and interaction with, the USC Alumni Association at www.sc.edu/alumni.html ;
Participate, if possible, in a once-a-year, on-campus, retreat for Area Alumni Ambassador representatives.
