Biography

Dr. Scott B. Jackson joined the faculty of USC in the fall of 2002 after spending five years at the University of Texas in San Antonio.  Dr. Jackson teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in financial and managerial accounting.  He conducts research in the areas of earnings management, accounting choice, compensation, and taxation.  Dr. Jackson's research has been published in accounting journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy. 

Prior to returning to academia, Dr. Jackson worked for a Fortune 500 firm and Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers.)
