The University of South Carolina Gamecocks compete in 21 varsity sports with nearly all vying in the tough-as-nails Southeastern Conference. With a devoted fanbase and 11 national titles, the Gamecocks play to win.

Meet Cocky

One of the most revered university traditions is Cocky, our beloved mascot. Cocky embodies our school and community spirit. When he's not on the sidelines beak-flapping on behalf of athletics, he's traveling across the state sharing the joys of reading to elementary school students as part of Cocky's Reading Express.
